Hello my name is Donald Trump and i'm a asshole and here's why...

Donald J. Trump is the greatest threat to the world since Adolf Hitler.
Here is not a word of exaggeration in that statement.
Let me repeat it, so that there can be no misunderstanding that I mean it: Donald Trump is the greatest threat to the world since Adolf Hitler. And given the size of his army and economy, perhaps even greater.
Trump rules as predicted by virtually every fascism expert: as a corrupt tyrant whose malice now far exceeds the imagination.
He deprives millions of the poorest people of their HIV medication and food stamps; he arrests random migrants and deports them without trial to torture camps at home and abroad; he allows a paramilitary gang to murder innocent civilians in broad daylight and openly lies about the circumstances; he bans books, destroys scientific knowledge, and censors universities; he blackmails and intimidates (former) allies; he threatens and persecutes political opponents and labels them as domestic terrorists; he lies shamelessly and incessantly about everything; he considers himself explicitly above the law; he manifests himself almost every waking hour of the day as one of the most disgusting, cruel, and immoral psychopaths in modern history.
And let's not forget: since 3 January this year, he has been illegally and without warning invading sovereign nations to seize their leaders, their capital and their natural resources by force. Does that ring a fascist bell? The invasion of Venezuela, followed by an immediate and undisguised threat of a similar nature against Colombia, Mexico and Greenland, makes Trump a direct threat to the world as a whole, comparable to Hitler after the annexation of Sudetenland in 1938 and the invasion of Poland in 1939.
Anyone who thinks this is an exaggeration is either dangerously uninformed or dangerously naive. When asked if there is anything that could still limit his world power, Trump replied: "Yes, there is one thing. My own morality. My own mind. That's the only thing that can stop me."*
Or listen to Stephen Miller, Trump's chief ideologist, who bluntly states that from now on, the law of thejungle will prevail: "We live in a world, in the real world [...] that is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power. These are the iron laws of the world [...] We're a superpower. And under President Trump, we are going to conduct ourselves as a superpower."*
A view that bears a striking resemblance to that of another well-known chief ideologist: "When two elements are struggling, the solution is force. There never was any other solution in history, and never will be."* And: "The Fascist State expresses the will to exercise power and to command."*
Signed: Benito Mussolini.
If the behaviour of the Trump regime – because that is what it is – did not set off alarm bells before, then hopefully the insane escalation of the past few days will. In less than a week, the US has declared war on one neighbouring country, threatened war against two others and openly declared its intention to annex a NATO member, by military force if necessary.
Anyone who continues to talk as if we are dealing with a "president", a "government" and a "policy" in the normal sense of the word is using language to conceal what is now undeniable to the whole world: this is a 21st-century tyranny with a mafia boss at the helm and a fascist script in hand.
It is therefore completely absurd that some media outlets continue to report on this as if we were watching "normal" geopolitical movements. 'The successful attack on Venezuela and the kidnapping of President Maduro: it seems to have given the international ambitions of the US a significant boost,'* said the presenter of the NOS Journaal news programme, referring to the most serious violation of international law since Russia's invasion of Ukraine – as if the sports news had already begun.
'Trump has already said that, in addition to Maduro, he also has a problem with other left-wing presidents," the newsreader continued like an accomplished propagandist, followed by an item in which two random Colombians 'disagree" on whether their president should be "the next" to be "taken on by Trump".
Can you imagine? The Polygoonjournaal reporting on the "successful" invasion of Poland, which has "given a significant boost" to Germany's "international ambitions", followed by a report from Denmark or Norway on whether they will be next?
Strange comparison, you say? Prove me wrong, Charlie Kirk would say.
Anyone who still rationalises this is blind to the obvious
Anyone who still rationalises the behaviour of Trump and his henchmen ("Trump wants Greenland, but why exactly?" – a literal headline in the Algemeen Dagblad newspaper),* excuses or relativises it ("Maduro was no angel either"), downplays it ("It won't come to that"), dismisses it with whataboutisms ("What about Obama?") or semantic nonsense about whether a comparison with dictators of the past is appropriate or not – is blind to this existential threat on the other side of the ocean.
For the Republicans in the US who could have prevented this and who, despite all the warning signs, including an attempted coup in 2021, decided not to stand in Trump's way in his frontal assault on truth, democracy and the rule of law, the following applies: your names will go down in history as the collaborators of our time.
For all the tech bosses, multi-billionaires and FIFA bigwigs who, like cowardly dogs, sold their conscience and moral compass for a few billion extra in profits in Q4 and gave the fascist a global stage, a well-filled campaign coffers and a plastic peace prize, we will remember you as the traitors of the 21st century.
And for us Europeans with eyes, ears, a voice and a conscience, the following applies: face the facts. Our greatest and most important ally of the twentieth century is now the most powerful and dangerous criminal organisation in the world. Call out every lie as soon as it is uttered; condemn every human rights violation as soon as it is committed; and support every resistance hero who dares to take on Trump and his cronies.
Strengthen our alliances, work together with everyone of good will, maintain faith in the future and in our fellow human beings. And above all: increase European independence in the political, economic, military and technological spheres as if our lives depended on it.
That's exactly what it does.
